We recommend that you plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the starting time for the event that you are attending so you can find a good parking place and a good seat in our auditorium.
What do I wear?
You are welcome here at First Baptist Church just as you are. We have members in coat-and-tie, members in jeans and t-shirt and everywhere in between. We meet to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. We believe that it’s the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.
What will my children do when I’m in the Worship Service?
Children are important to us at First Baptist Church. While the parents are in our worship service and Bible Study Groups, the children will be in special programs designed just for them, with caring teachers who want to show them the love of Jesus.
A nursery is available during all services for children who are one to three year olds. Children who are four and five year olds, first and second graders may attend our Children’s Church after the Children’s Sermon in our sanctuary during our worship service.
Where do I sit?
You are welcome to sit wherever you feel comfortable in our sanctuary, from the front row on the main floor to the back row of the balcony. If you have difficulty finding a seat, our ushers are available to assist you.
I’m in a wheelchair. Where do I go?
Designated wheelchair access and seating is available on the main level of our sanctuary. The wheelchair access is located at the Northwest entrance to our sanctuary, just off the main North parking area.
I have difficulty hearing. How can I be sure I will be able to hear during the services?
We have hearing devices available for anyone wishing to use them. Our ushers will be glad to assist you with one of these devices, should you desire the use of one.
What style of music is used in your worship services?
Our services contain a blend of worship music styles from favorite hymns to more contemporary worship music. The purpose of worship is to worship the Lord and praise His name! We have an adult choir, men’s ensemble, ladies ensemble and adult praise band who all help to make our worship more meaningful.
What version or translation of the Bible do you use?
Our pastor preaches from the King James version. However we accept all versions of the Bible that hold true to God’s Word.
How long is the service?
Our services are approximately one hour in length.
How do I get involved in Bible Study Groups?
Join us at 9:30 am every Sunday morning for Bible Study. You will find a group of believers who are the same age and at the same stages in life as yo are. You will enjoy fellowship and building relationships that will last a lifetime.
