Vocal Opportunities

Children's Choir |

|
meets in the Choir Room Wednesdays at 4:15pm (August
through May) |
Preschoolers (age
3-5) and children in grades 1-6 learn Spiritual
truths through fun and exciting music. Hours of
preparation culminate in presentations at Christmas
and each spring, along with singing in worship
services throughout the school year.

Worship Choir |

meets in the Choir Room Wednesdays at 7:30pm (August
through May) |
This choir includes
youth and adults. The worship choir
provides musical leadership utilizing all styles of
music for the weekly morning worship services as
well as it’s presentation of Christmas and Easter
seasonal productions. The worship choir also presents
an evening of praise and worship in the fall. New
members are always welcomed to this family of
singers. Faithful rehearsal and performance
attendance is expected.

These seasoned
saints prove that you’re never too old to sing. In
addition to monthly worship music presentations, the
Golden Tones also sing in nursing homes and other
locations as invited.

Instrumental Opportunities

meets in the Adult 2 Department Mondays at 4:45pm (September
through May) |
This handbell choir
is open to youth in grades 7-12, and to adults,
college and above. Depending on participation, this
ensemble is sometimes divided into two separate
groups. Ringers are required to have a knowledge of
music reading and are required to keep strict
attendance to rehearsals and performances.
Presentations are made in worship services as well
as locations outside the church as invited.

Praise Band |

meets in the Church Auditorium Sundays at 4:45pm
(Wednesdays at 5:15pm during summer) |
The FBC Praise Band
is a newly organizing rhythm band who will play in
weekly worship services as well as accompanying
choral and ensemble presentations as needed.
Instrumentalist must have an ability to read chord
charts, as well as a playable knowledge of their
instruments. Participants will be asked to audition
by playing a song for the director. Strict rehearsal
and performance attendance is necessary.
